Have you ever lost your bus pass or wallet and been worried about how to get home? Have you ever felt frightened or unwell when out on your own? Have you ever had difficulty making yourself understood? Then the Keep Safe Scheme is for you.

There's a link to Keep Safe in Gloucestershire on this website.(Herefordshire has a similar scheme and there's a link to that as well.) To find these links, go the Safety part of our Resources section. Safe places can be found in many towns. These are places anyone can go to if they feel threatened or unsafe in any way. Staff at these places are friendly and know how to give support.

Keeping safe in relationships is an important part of everyone's well-being. "Behind Closed Doors" is a new film produced by Dramatic Change, a drama group based in Gloucester. It had a good reception when it was shown at the Learning Disability Partnership Board meeting in Gloucester last month. The film is 15 minutes long and deals with the subject of sexual abuse. If you'd like to see it, go to the Safety part of our Resources section and click on Sexual Abuse: "Behind Closed Doors". This will lead you Gloucestershire's Learning Disability Partnership Board website where you can scroll down to watch the film.
