TWO ADDITIONAL ARTICLES ON EMPATHY

19 Feb 2018

We've expanded the Resources section of our website by adding two practical articles about listening with empathy: "Empathy in Practice" and "Empathy in Practice (2)". Here are the links:
Empathy in Practice
Empathy in Practice (2)

Many people are drawn to the idea of empathy but find it difficult to apply in the real world. It can be very hard to empathise when someone expresses a view that differs markedly from our own, or when they tell us about a problem whose solution is obvious to us. It can be awfully tempting to advise rather than listen. Yet most people want to be heard and understood, not judged!

We hope you'll find the articles useful and enriching.
